What are top\/middle\/base notes?<br><br>\r\n\r\nThe 13th edition of FRAGRANCE LAB.BLOG, brought to you by fragrance manufacturer ART LAB., is about the &#8220;Fragrance Pyramid.&#8221;\r\n<\/p>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n    <div class=\"img_area\">\r\n      <figure><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.artlab.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/blog-f-etc13.jpg\" alt=\"\u4e09\u89d2\u5f62\u306e\u30ec\u30b7\u30d4\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4275\" \/><\/figure>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n  <\/div>\r\n  <!-- text_img -->\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"set\">\r\n  <h2>&#8220;Fragrance Pyramid&#8221; to visualize fragrance recipes<\/h2>\r\n  <div class=\"img_text\">\r\n    <div class=\"text_area\">\r\n      <p>\u3000You may have seen triangular diagrams describing fragrances at various stores that carry our ART.LAB products and also other companies&#8217;.\r\n\r\n<\/p><p>\r\nWhat does this diagram represent?\r\n<\/p><p>\r\nFragrance products such as perfumes and reed diffusers, which are formulated by perfumers, contain a variety of fragrances, which are blended in good balance.<br>\r\nHowever, each invisible fragrance component actually has its own size, and not all fragrances volatilize at the same rate.<br>Take, for example, alcohol, which we often use these days for hand sanitizing. Alcohol dries quickly when put on the hands, but what if this is water? It takes time to dry, doesn&#8217;t it? Similar to this liquid example, some gaseous scents disappear quickly, while others remain longer. For example, let&#8217;s take 201LAB&#8217;s &#8220;Asian Flower,&#8221; a fragrance with exotic mature allure, as an example.\r\n\r\n\r\n<\/p><p>\r\n\u25a0TOP NOTE <i><\/i><br>\r\nThis is a highly volatile fragrance and is represented at the top of the pyramid.\r\nOrchid and Lotus are examples here.\r\n<\/p><p>\r\n\u25a0MIDDLE NOTE  <i><\/i><br>\r\nThe middle note is the center of the fragrance, and is the middle of the pyramid. Also known as the &#8220;heart note,&#8221; it serves as the link between the top and base notes.\r\nYlang-ylang and floral bouquet are examples here.\r\n\r\n<\/p><p>\r\n\u25a0BASE NOTE  <i><\/i><br>\r\nThe base note is the heavy last notes, and is represented at the bottom of the pyramid.
