{"id":3191,"date":"2023-01-27T10:00:49","date_gmt":"2023-01-27T01:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.artlab.co.jp\/en\/?post_type=blog&#038;p=3191"},"modified":"2023-05-25T11:23:25","modified_gmt":"2023-05-25T02:23:25","slug":"fragrance_etc_11","status":"publish","type":"blog","link":"https:\/\/www.artlab.co.jp\/en\/blog\/etc\/fragrance_etc_11","title":{"rendered":"No.11\uff5cEssence &#038; Flower Vol.5 Mimosa\uff5cFRAGRANCE LAB.BLOG"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"set\">\r\n\t\r\n\t<p>Hello everyone,<\/p>\r\n\t<p>FRAGRANCE LAB.BLOG, brought to you by fragrance manufacturer ART LAB., is back with another installment.<\/p>\r\n\t<p>Continuing the conversation from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artlab.co.jp\/blog\/etc\/fragrant_etc_10\">the 10th issue<\/a>, we would like to talk about the fragrance of &#8220;Mimosa&#8221; as ESSENCE &#038; FLEUR Vol. 5.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div><!-- set -->\r\n\r\n<div class=\"set\">\r\n\t<h2>Classification of Mimosa and its fragrance<\/h2>\r\n\t<div class=\"img_text\">\r\n\t\t<div class=\"text_area\">\r\n\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t<p>Mimosa is the general name for the genus Acacia of the Fabaceae family, of which there are many varieties such as &#8220;Acacia dealbata&#8221; and &#8221; Acacia baileyana,&#8221; but it is the Acacia dealbata that is used as an essential oil.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t<p>It is characterized by round yellow petals and a gentle, sweet, fresh fragrance, but when it is made into essential oil, its scent changes to a very rich floral tone.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t<p>Some people often confuse mimosa and acacia, but they are two different plants.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t<p>Both are members of the Fabaceae family and have similar flower shapes, but mimosa flowers are yellow and acacia flowers are white.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t<div class=\"img_area\">\r\n\t\t\t<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.artlab.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/etc11-1a.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1100\" height=\"733\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3231\" \/><\/figure>\r\n        <\/div>\r\n      <\/div><!-- text_img -->\r\n\r\n\t<p>They also have different blooming seasons: mimosa blooms from February to April, while acacia blooms from April to May.<\/p>\r\n\t<p>The fragrance of acacia is weaker than that of mimosa, and mimosa is used exclusively for perfumes and essential oils.<\/p>\r\n\t\r\n<\/div><!-- set -->\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"set\">\r\n\t<h2>Mimosa Day<\/h2>\r\n\t<div class=\"text_img\">\r\n\t\t<div class=\"text_area\">\r\n\t\t\t<p>We talked about<a href=\"https:\/\/www.artlab.co.jp\/blog\/etc\/fragrant_etc_09\">  &#8220;Muguet (lily of the valley) Day in the 9th issue.<\/a><\/p>\r\n\t\t\t<p>Did you know that there is also &#8220;Mimosa Day&#8221;?<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t<p>In Italy, March 8 is called &#8220;Mimosa Day.&#8221;<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t<p>March 8th marks International Women&#8217;s Day as designated by the United Nations,\r\nin Italy, it is customary for men to give women mimosas as gifts.
